2024 Merchants Square Concert Series

With a multifaceted career spanning music, activism, and community engagement, Kyshona brings a unique blend of talent and purpose to the stage.

Kyshona’s journey in music began as a music therapist, where she penned songs with students and inmates, giving voice to those often forgotten or silenced. Through her organization, Your Song, she continues to heal and connect communities through music, embodying the essence of an artist, songwriter, and activist.

Kyshona’s latest project, LEGACY, delves into the intricacies of family, inviting listeners to join her in a journey of self-discovery and healing. Through stories, photos, and music, she shares her narrative while fostering a sense of unity and empowerment among her audience.

Kyshona’s impact extends beyond her music. From speaking engagements to television appearances, she uses her platform to address social issues and advocate for change. Her song “Listen” became an anthem of resilience in 2020, offering solace to those grappling with loss and uncertainty.

As Kyshona takes the stage at Merchants Square on September 6th, attendees can expect an evening filled with soul-stirring melodies and thought-provoking lyrics. But the experience doesn’t end with the music. Kyshona’s performances often spark conversations and inspire action, prompting audiences to ask, “What can I do?” Her response is simple yet profound: “Listen.”

Before settling in for the free concert, we invite guests to explore the offerings of Merchants Square’s 43 shops and restaurants.
